Bellevue Medical Center offers Breast Pump Rentals to Patients and Community Through New Re:sourxe Retail Store

Service designed to help nursing mothers

Bellevue, Nebraska, DATE, 2010 — The Bellevue Medical Center is offering breast pump rentals to patients and members of the community in a program designed to help nursing mothers. The program is being implemented through the hospital’s new retail store, Re:sourxe, developed by Bellevue and quality of daily life solutions provider Sodexo. 

While hospital gift shops traditionally offer items to help patients to feel better and convenience items for visitors and staff, Re:sourxe, expands the offer to meet the medical needs of the patients being treated in the hospital as well as members of the local community.  

“We knew that offering breast pump rentals along with professional advice on how to use them and which models best fit the needs of new moms would be a great way to enhance the patient experience,” said name, title of Bellevue Medical Center. “At the same time, we also wanted to offer this service to members of the community who we knew would also benefit from the service.”
